Description of program

VNAHHS provides home visitation to parents with children from birth through eighteen. During the home visit, the VNA nursing staff evaluates the safety of the home environment and helps the family identify environmental hazards and ways to deal with such hazards. Recommendations and referrals to community resources may also be made. Evaluations of the risk and occurrence of Child Abuse may also be made at these visits, with appropriate reporting and referrals.
